FAQs
We ave taken the time to post frequently asked questions here. As we are asked more questions often we will add them here as well.
Why are you doing this?
I believe that there is a call on my life to do this. I could have just opened up a church in my area, but there are already churches on every corner or every other corner and I have attended a great many of them. I believe that we are spending time going to church but we are not being “discipled”. I want to provide training and the access so that we all can be changed into the image of Christ. This ministry will be interactive and you will be able to ask what you need to ask. I will give you information based on my study and experiences that were made clear to me through the Bible. You will have that information to go back and study for yourself and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you and guide you into the truth.
What makes you different?
I don’t know that I am different so much as I have a different focus. I don’t have a church to build, lights to keep on, heating and air conditioning to contend with. I can spend my time feeding the flock of God.
What about my church?
This is not a replacement for your church. This is designed to be a supplement to your spiritual growth. There are pastors who would not support your participating in this community of believers and there are those who would. We attend a church in our neighborhood. Fellowship with believers is what is mandated in the word of God.
Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. KJV
We like you have been taught that scripture as a reason to go to church. We are human beings and personal contact is important to us. But the scripture just before it tells why we should not forsake assembly:
Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: KJV
We are to come together to exhort one another. Often that does not happen. Most of us go so that we can say that we went. We don’t give encouragement and sometimes we don’t receive any directly, even when it is being provided. This ministry will provide a strong resource for you. I will try to provide the encouragement that you may be looking for. As it grows there may very well be a fellowship in your area. But the blessing is that you will receive training that will help you in your relationships throughout your life and at your current church. If you participate on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m., (starting March 1, 2010) I believe that you will have assemsbled yourself with believers. But you have to decide what you believe.
Is this just a scam so that you can get money?
The Bible is clear that you bring your “tithes” into the storehouse so that everyone can benefit.
Mal 3:10
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].
My purpose is not to get your money and I will continue to do what I am doing whether you give or not. I am doing what I believe God has ordained me to do. If you are blessed by this ministry and you would like to give, then do so, but obey God.
