Assurance of Salvation
Ephesians 2; 8-10a
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
Once we are saved, the enemy is always there to try and turn us around. Sometimes things happen in life and we question our salvation. We need assurance of our salvation so that we know that we are not alone.

The Bible says, “He that hath the Son hath life; He that hath not the Son, hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life” (I John 5:12-13). |

| God’s provision |
| God has promised to complete His work of salvation in us (Philippians 1:6) |

Jesus promises assurance of eternal life. “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24). |

Jesus said no one could take the Christian out of His hand (John 10:28). |

The Holy Spirit tells us we are the children of God (Romans 8:16). |

| We receive Gods assurance bv faith and express it through obedience (I John 2:3-5). |

Christians are not to trust only their feelings. |

We walk by faith. not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). |

Confess all known sin. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousnese’ (I John 1:9). |

Commit yourself to the lordship ofJesus Christ (Romans 10:9-10). |

Claim God’s promises of salvation by faith. Know. Believe. Commit. (2 Timothy 1: 12). |
