Elder Pam
Elder Pam is a native of East St. Louis, IL. She is the daughter of Rev. M. R. Lemons (retired) pastor of Pilgrim Baptist Church and the granddaughter of Pastor Dewitt Lemons [father’s father] (deceased) and Pastor Wesley Clark [mother’s father] (deceased). She believes her heritage laid the foundation for who she would be. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Chemistry, with a minor in Philosophy, a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management. She was an officer in the United States Navy from 1985 to 1995.
She accepted Christ at the very young age of 5. She sang and taught in the church until she joined the Navy. Her time in the Navy gave her the opportunity to teach and sing all over the United States. It is her heritage that shaped her values, goals and passions. Her passion for God and desire, to give back to Him the talents and gifts that He gave her, caused her to lay the foundation for A God Ministries. It started as A God Send Business and Administrative Services in 1997.
It started there because of her Baptist upbringing. She was always taught that women could not pastor. Yet she still had the desire to see churches have sound business dealings, organizational management, training, policies and procedures. She still had the burning desire to teach the people of God. That desire was partially met with the founding of The Russell Consulting Group. She designed organization specific training, completed 501(c)(3) applications, drafted bylaws, consulted on other business matters and taught. Though she was working to help others with the business of ministry so that they could fulfill the call of God on their lives, the desire in her was not satisfied completely and she knew that God was not done with her.
In 1999 as she continued to put one foot in front of the other, believing that God would open and close doors to direct her path; she incorporated A God Send Ministries, Inc.
She is the devoted wife of Danny Russell. They have been married for 24 years. She is the mother of 2 daughters and 2 sons. She is a member of Journey Church in Orange Park. She was licensed as a minister in 2001 and ordained in 2005.
Of all that God has done in and through my life, my heart’s desire is to be used by God to bring people to a place where they walk in the fullness of all that God has for them.
